I need to replace the exhaust in my 88. While I can't see past the intermediate pipe, I know the muffler is blown (2 gigantic holes), the intermediate has enough rust on it that I'd rather replace it than patch the holes, and I don't need to pass any inspections , so I'm not going to bother replacing the tailpipe.
What (cheap) setup would you recommend? I don't have any welding equipment to work with, but I was thinking an oem int. straight to a glasspack for like 40-50 bucks in parts. Or would a flexpipe work in place of the old int. pipe?
This is my first time tearing into something bigger than cosmetics, so I'm pretty stoked!
Thanks!
