Hello all
Gonna see what your input is on this since I have to put a new shackle and brace on my truck I decided to have my brace galvanized (done for free at work) what's your take is it a good move or bad

Is it dipped or electroplated? Not that it matters to me as I have very little knowledge on galvanizing. I've seen a homebuilt trailer dipped for rust protection so I assume it would be good in your case too.
Seeing as you work at a galvanising facility perhaps you would like to share your knowledge instead of phishing?

Its hot dip galvinizing to help prevent rusting it should last100 years if you go to YouTube and look at galvinizing a towmaster trailor its the plant I work in and a step by step start to finish on what it dose another method is hot stick galvanizing in witch case is a pain in the butt

There us a hot dip plant in Canada think the name was galvtech can't remember off hand
