I have had this problem for about a month now need help
My 4 high and low lights keep flashing at the same time when I try to use my 4 wheel drive that I don't think is working what could the problem be

Could be time to get codes.

The most likely cause is the shift motor. There is a good article in the tech library about cleaning it, which I would try before anything else since it works 75-90% of the time, and costs $3 for a can of brake clean as opposed to $300 for a new motor.

If its the shift motor i have a working one you can have out of a 2000 ranger im in the chicago area

OK tryed love tapping the t case to see if I could get the four wheel drive to Ingage an nothing
