By the looks of it, you would have to be under 5 feet tall to ride in that ride, looks like absolutely no room for adults...must be the Fisher Price kids pedal car from Toys R Us...better hurry and get one they're going out of business LOL.

Bet its at least IFS, if not front and rear independent suspension, front wheel drive, with a little plastic knob for terrain management in the AWD models, a 10 speed automatic and a lawnmower engine in it. Yep, Ford screwed up the Bronco just like they did the Ranger.

Oh, and a $50k+ price tag. $55k if you want the bucking bronco emblems.

Yeah, who would want a little SUV with a problematic gutless engine, IFS and electronic 4wd?

Eh, Ford has teased me enough over the last 12 years.

Well there were rumors of a factory solid front axle and manual transmission, as it is supposed to be trying to directly compete with the Wrangler.

Although, as far as automatics go, a 10 speed isn't really that bad of an idea. The more gears you have with close ratios the better performance you can get by not constantly revving the engine past it's usable power band and then dropping it back to the bottom of that band on the shift.

Plus you can get 10 speeds out of most common current automatics without adding a bunch of extra parts. Just a few more solenoids in the valve body and some extra fluid passages.

I think the article I saw about that was in Jalopnik. There had been a leak from Dana that parts were being sourced for the front of the new Bronco (Ford using a Dana front, big surprise there) and it was possibly going to be sharing front end parts with the Wrangler. So we may be looking at a solid D44, like the Grands Cherokee.

Or a SLA Dana 35 like the last Ranger. Could be mixed with the theory of the TTB D35 that shared parts with the Jeep D35.

Dana makes a bunch of different things, I wouldn't hold my breath for a solid axle just because Dana is making it.

I know that Dana makes a lot of stuff. I can't actually think of any 4x4 front axle Ford used since the Shoe Box Broncos that wasn't supplied by Dana, except for the Expedition/F-150s with the front 8.8.

And it was mostly rumor and conjecture. The bigger reason for that idea was that the new Bronco is allegedly supposed to compete more directly with the Wrangler than with the 4Runner. I did find the article, it was on Road and Track.
