hardwired an led light bar under my tailgate and wired it according to the wire colors i found in the tech library. the reverse lights on the light bar are always on, my third brake light is always on, when i hit the brakes the reverse lights on the light bar get brighter, the only thing that is correct really is the running lights and turn signals. anyone have any idea as to what the hell is going on?

Where are splicing into for these connections? Easiest thing would be the trailer harness...

mine is too, but did you have to hook up a ground wire?

it had a ground wire that i spliced into the ground in the harness. im thinking my third brake light was on like this before the light bar. im not sure why though. i decided to just snip the reverse light for the light bar so now i just have running and turn signals. no brakes or reverse.

i can live with just running lights and turn signals for now. if i get bored someday i may decide to go out and try and fix it.
