We swapped the engine out of my 86 Ranger due to a cracked block. The replacement was running, as was the original.
Fuel lines are properly connected, fuel pump does NOT get power even after the impact safety switch was bypassed. We ran lines out to direct power and get fuel pump working, getting fuel to the rail and the Schraeder valve on the rail. The timing is within a degree. The ignition coil is properly grounded, and we're getting spark.
Any ideas?
