Hello I have an 89 ranger with the 2.9 5 speed and just the other day it is not getting any gas. It ran just fine then went to start it then wouldnt catch. It turns over and starts when we put gas into the air intake but doesnt get any gas. I just replaced the fuel and eec relays and still nothing. My check engine light doenst turn on anymore since i replaced them and it did before. it has gas i put in a gallon and it wasnt completely out when it wouldnt start. is it the pump? anything else i should do before i go and take the bed off and replace the pump. checked inertia switch and its good. will a pump just go out all of a sudden like that? any help is appreciated. thanks.
