Wow its been a while since ive posted here! not sure if you guys remember but this was my old ranger
i think my build is in my bio... i sold that about a year ago and now i have a full stage 2 obs 7.3 f350 but am looking at getting another ranger and viewing their prerunner side.
i have a pretty good idea on what im going to do for rear suspension (64" leaf with shackle flip and e9000 shocks should be soft enough and give about 14" of travel), but i have no idea about up front. as a 4x4 guy all this i beam measurements and angles and differences between equal length i beams and non equal its all confusing. i made an account at dezertrangers but it is still pending approval so here i am.
im going to get a 93-97 2wd ranger
i would like around 12" travel up front
i would like to stay with a coil and shock setup not coilovers (on a budget)
i would like around 3-4" of lift to clear 33 12.5s
i would like to do a kit of some sort (again think budget)
it will be a DD so it needs to be moderately road worthy (more in a reliable aspect than a handling aspect)
i also have no idea what prerunner guys do about steering... im guessing all you need is a drop pitman?
if you have any info that will point me in the right direction on any of this it would be greatly appreciated!
