Steele wool would help the outside pretty good silver paint might help the inside but you would probably have a lot of time in shit lights.

i tried polishing the reflector with my dremel tool with a red polishing compound and looks good but i want to get a finer grade to get a mirror like finish !!! I will post up pics today in a little bit and looks good in my opinion!!!

Quick deterioration of the foil/glue (from the heat)
Getting all the wrinkles out of the foil.

hey i am just polish them all to the best i can and then just clear coat to keep them from rusting!!!!

well i check out online that they put a clear coat on the before when they where new i don't see a problem with that...
