Anyone ever saw one? There used to be several around western north carolina. They were done by Chattanooga customs in TN.The trucks had a fiberglass step side bed.I am talking about 1990 and back, ranger trucks.Just wondered if it was just a local thing.Or if anyone else had saw them.

I have seen one like you are talking about, it was all original except for a suspension lift, rims and tires. Had a factory stepside bed on it, i wanna say it was a gen 1 but it might have been a gen 2 i'm not 100%. But the guy wanted like 12k for the truck and it had i think around 30-40k actual miles

I remember those. Choo Choo Customs did them (In Chattanooga). Haven't seen one in years being from the town that did them. Choo Choo went belly up around 8 or 10 years ago. They were a limited run because Choo Choo's claim to fame was Chevy C1500s & G series vans. Any Fords were dealer requests. Kinda funny too being we had at that time 5 Ford dealers in the area and none of them offered Choo Choo anything. LOL

One of Choo Choo's signature deals was the foggy / blendy paint jobs. There is a 92 F150 that runs around town that's an off white / beige combo (YUCK)

My credo
the grey-t escape
late '80's S-10 2wd's at a local dealership had stepside beds, they were fiberglass, dont know who made them. knda cool looking, but less bed space. you figure a full-size stepside is about like having a ranger bed, so having a stepside box on a small truck would be about like having a radio flyer wagon mounted to the frame.
