anyone into a group buy for a doubler kit

He sells cable shifter kits on his website currently. No offense to him but I bought a d300 twin stick shifter on ebay that I'm going to modify to work with a 1354.

I like the 205 case but the rbv cases have better gearing stock.

His price is better than a 203 doubler kit, I priced it. The clock ability of the under drive is what sold me on the kit.

Not to mention the weight savings of a strong box vs a 203/205 doubler. I heard it was around 250lbs.

The only reason I might not buy is it places my np205 where my radius arm mounts are. Meaning I would have to shorten the radius arms (48" long already) and drill 8 new holes in the frame for the crossmember. Shortening my radius arms would require me to buy new rod end adapters for my 2x2 1/4" square tube.

Prototype 1354 shaft came back from heat treat a couple days ago and looks great.

I have. Been running it for a couple months now. Other than having a tap busted off half way in one of the holes and it leaking like hell until I siliconed the two halves together it's holding up well. I can put it in double low and idle up a 45 degree slope.

Jacob was supposed to send me a new housing half but in his typical better late than never fashion I still haven't received it yet. I'm contemplating buying a 1354 doubler for my 99 ranger. If his shipping times have improved.

Any strong box will need sealant between the 2 halves.

Here are a few pics of the 1354 shorty kit. 17" total length.

intermediate shaft actually replaces the input shaft of the rear case for a shorter and much stronger union.
