I have read others here have had this issue, but no details on whether it can be fixed with different leds or if it is okay just to leave them in
I replaced all the incandescents with leds except for the airbag, because led doesn't draw enough power and ecm thinks it is burned out and chimes.
The check engine, and check fuel gauge led will stay illuminated slightly after they have gone off after starting engine.
Is there any issue with just keeping the leds in the panel.
Secondly, I took my passenger seat out so the dog could ride there. The air bag light is now illuminated and blinks giving me a 47 code. The light never goes out. Is there a way to trick the ecm into thinking the seat is there and the connector under seat is connected?
