I posted this in the General Discussion board, thought it'd be better off here:
The A/C clutch on my '97 Ranger is squealing. It squeals when the A/C is off, and it still squeals a little when the A/C is on. It sounds like the clutch but it could also be a bearing. Can I lube this thing? Can I use WD40?..or should I use something else?
I know that the clutch is magnetic, so lube theoretically shouldn't affect it's ability to work properly and cut the squeal..
let me know what you guys think.
