Default Utility trailer laws?

Does anyone know what the minimum size for a utility trailer is in order for it to have to be registered? I'm thinking of building a small trailer to haul my decoys and gear in, but I don't know if it would have to be registered...this is in Washington State.

I've tried searching through the DOL's website but I couldn't find an answer. I also called down there and no one answered...was hoping someone on here would know.

Thanks

In Kansas were lucky and only have to register trailers over 2,000lbs. I remember coming across a website one time that had all of the requirements for each state listed.

here we have to tag all trailers but only 3,000 lbs and up are subject to inspections.

If you happen to come across that website again, I'd appreciate it if you'd post it. It would be nice not to have to register it. This trailer would only be about 40" X 50" on the bed. It'll just be used to haul decoys.

if it's like Oregon, if it's under 1200lb total it doesn't need to be registered
