Hey all,
My steering column has a good deal of slop in the upper bearing and my wiper switch is on the way out. Seems like a good time for an upgrade.

Can a tilt column from a ranger/explorer be directly swapped in? If so, what years will bolt in? I'm guessing 91-92 ranger and 91-94 explorer. Am I close?

Thanks

My 87 tilt column had a ton of slop , there's a few bolts on the column that can be tightened to fix this , the hardest part was getting column cover of to get to them.
LMC Truck sells bearings also.
I also heard that cleaning the connections on the wiper switch may help , i need to re visit that myself.
