Wanted to try out some led stuff for my truck, so I got a blue dome light, cause I like blue, and some license plate lights, cause one was burnt out anyway, and I think it looks good, from superbrightleds.com
Heres the dome light

and the license plate lights (before i put in the left led)

I had heard good things about yellow fog lights, so with winter coming up, I thought I'd try a set of Nokya hyper yellow bulbs, haven't driven with them at night yet, but I think they look pretty good so far.

What do you guys think?

Yea, still debating on whether I like the look of the fogs, I just heard they were better for snow, and it looked worse with the stock bulbs in it (I have sylvania silverstars in the headlights), and the two colors clashed even more than these do

Damn Missouri people and there LEDs.

I like it myself. I changed out 2 of the 3 lights in my dome light with blue LEDs, but I used some inverted LEDs I had laying around. I want to keep the center light white and it gives off a really good color combo. I believe superbrightleds is based here in St.Louis and not far from where I live.

is there anyway to replace gen 1 headlights with a halogen or similar better light?

i don't like the look of mine, they are too warm.

some day i need to find somewhere to align them... everywhere i have read usually says like 25ft distance between the truck and the wall or solid surface or w/e... i can't really think of anywhere that i would have 25 open feet in front of a solid surface haha.

btw crane, i like how much light the cargo light puts out... all the way into the bed, and i like how blue it is... i like the original bulbs in the fog lights btw, but i just prefer more white lights instead of warm white. i'm considering putting a red cargo light in, i would like that i think, but then again, it probably wouldn't be as functional as a white light. i don't even know how to get my cargo light assembly out.

About replacements, might want to look into these or something similar
http://www.myhellalights.com/halogen_lamps/200mm_Conversion_Headlamp.html
Fits into sealed beam area, but has a replaceable halogen bulb, an H4 i think.
I was looking into these, except the round ones, as replacements for my Mustang's headlights, but never got any, still using sealed beams for now.

As for the aiming, I drove my truck right up close to a wall, put marks with tape where the headlights were aimed, then backed up on level ground. Then I adjusted the lights to a bit below where the mark was, since I didn't have 25 feet. Then I just had my mom drive infront of me at night to make sure they didn't cause too much glare, and she said they were fine.

Thanks, I got a model WLED-xHP15-T in blue from superbrightleds.com. It actually seems a bit brighter than what my picture shows. Don't come in red though, but I don't know if gen 1 overhead lights used the same set up as the newer ones or not (in mine you just have to pry off a plastic cover, then change the bulb). Yea, still thinking about what color fog lights I like better, I'll leave the yellow ones in for a bit and see if they really do help in the snow or not.

I will do the turned last sense I'll need those load resister things so my lights do not blink at warp speed.Just to do the dash,HVAC,finish the doom light and do markers is 60 bucks for the leds. Not including the brake/turn and front trun and third brake light and cargo lights.
