No they are not dot appoved so they are not legal to have on the road because there is suppose be a reflector inside the housing

these are s.a.e /dot approved

Put them in with amber bulbs and you'll be fine. I've had my clear corners for 3 years with no Amber reflector and have had no issues with the po po

The amber of the bulb I would count as a part, but for them to be legal technically you need atleast a small orange reflector... I would get them, just keep your old ones incase for whatever reason a cop decides to be a dick or you have to go in for inspections.

you can get away with putting in tailights without reflectors if you have 2 red rear facing reflectors on your vehicle. some of the smaller suv's have this. i think the mercury Mountaineer also had them at one time.

Yeah. That and the Lexus RX330 had that same idea aswell. I was thinking I could get away with it by doing something like that.
