I have just started watching season 4.

From IMDB:
U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is a modern day 19th century-style lawman, enforcing his brand of justice in a way that puts a target on his back with criminals and places him at odds with his bosses in the Marshal service. That conflict results in a reassignment for Givens to the U.S. District covering the town where he grew up. He is an anachronism - a tough, soft spoken gentleman who finds his quarry fascinating, but never gives an inch. Dig under his placid skin and you'll find an angry man who grew up hard in rural Kentucky, with an outlaw father, who knows a lot more about who he doesn't want to be than who he really is.

And a Quote from one of the episodes:

[giving the prayer at Boyd's camp]

Raylan Givens: Dear Lord, before we eat this meal we ask forgiveness for our sins, especially Boyd- who blew up a black church with a rocket launcher, and afterwards he shot his associate Jared Hale in the back of the head out on Tate's Creek bridge. Let the image of Jared's brain matter on that windshield not dampen our appetites, but may the knowledge of Boyd's past sins help guide these men. May this food provide them with all the nourishment they need. But, if it does not, may they find comfort in knowing that the United States Marshal Service is offering fifty-thousand dollars to any individual providing information that will put Boyd back in prison. Cash or check, we can make it out to them. Or to Jesus. Whoever they want. In your name, we pray. Amen.

This show is really good. Raylan as his boss Art Mullen notes is quite the "hillbilly whisperer"

I watch it. It's a great show!

You can stream all the seasons from Amazon.

Unfortunately, I recently finished watching this seaon's shows. Now I have to wait until next year

Raylan: Dewey Crowe.
Dewey: Aw, shit.
Raylan: Come on, hop in.
Dewey: Hell with it. I’ll wait for another car.
Raylan: Dewey. What you doing?
Dewey: I’m hitchhiking. What’s it look like?
Raylan: But what’s going on?
Dewey: I got nothing to say to you.
Raylan: Why aren’t you up there at church camp with pastor Boyd and the other commandos?
Dewey: They ain’t Crowder’s commandos no more, that’s for damn sure.
Raylan: What do you mean by that?
Dewey: Too much religion. That’s why I left. I never should have come down. There’s too many rules.
Raylan: What kind of rules?
Dewey:Oh, all kinds! Hell, I can’t even remember them all. They’re from the bible.
Raylan: They kick you out for breaking one of God’s rules?
Dewey: Yeah, one of them. One lousy rule, he kicked me out.
Raylan: Well, what did you do, lie? Steal? Dance on Sunday?
Dewey: He called me an onanist. Bet you don’t even know what that is, smartass.
Raylan: Actually, I do.
Dewey: Yeah, well, I didn’t. How you think that was, Boyd, running me down in front of everybody?
Raylan: I don’t know, funny?
Dewey: You go to hell.
Raylan: I’m just playing. So he kicked you out for jacking off, huh?! Hey, Dewey Crowe, you stop right there! In name of the U.S. marshals service and the government of the United States, I hereby declare you deputized.
Dewey: What?
Raylan: You are now a duly deputized assistant U.S. marshal.
Dewey: What the hell’s that supposed to mean?
Raylan: It means you either assist me in my investigation or find yourself in violation of section 39b of the U.S. marshal’s act, for which you might receive a sentence of not longer than three years in the federal pen.
Dewey: Oh, bullshit! That’s an abuse of federal power!
Raylan: Well, be that as it may, it is the law. Now, get in the car, or face the consequences.

Ending? You just ruined my day...

I assume next season will the be last? Given the story line this season, I kind of wondered how much longer it would last.

yep, they announced it during the middle of last season. pissed me off too. but i would rather they do that, than keep producing the show and it sucking ass because the writers are drained.

I watched them all and own them on DVD...

BTW, did you know the actor that plays "Dewey Crowe" is actually from Australia?

Or that the guy that played Dickie Bennett is the same guy that played "Cpl. Timothy E. Upham" in "Saving Private Ryan"?

Well they couldn't get Elmore Leonard to help by writing more story, Elmore died in 2013.

Elmore Leonard wrote the original short story that "Justified s based on
and also wrote the story that became the Quentin Tarentino "Jackie Brown" and the screenplay for the Clint Eastwood film "Joe Kidd" & the John Travolta, Gene Hackman, Rene Russo, and Danny DeVito film "Get Shorty".

Look Elmore Leonard upon Wikipedia, he was quite a prolific writer...

Elmore Leonard was one of my favorite authors. He wrote westerns and then later switched to south Florida detective-type stuff. It was detective-stuff, but didn't usually have a detective in it. My favorites are Cuba Libre and Tishomingo Blues. But I read all of his stuff and loved it all. Mr. Majestik--damn, all are good. You never want the book to end.

One of his tricks was to fill the pages with dialog instead of narrative. It makes the pages go by faster and keeps interest.

Edit: Carl Hiaasen is the best, though, for that type of writing.

My credo
Love Thy Neighbor
Three years after the original post and I finally got to watch the first three seasons of this show. Loved it...

I borrowed the DVD from the library and one of the disks was damaged so I missed some of the episodes...but then I found it on-line and was tempted to pay the price for it...maybe later when I'm rich and famous...:)
