I needed cv axle, hub, rotor, caliper, caliper bracket, for passenger side of my 1999 ford ranger 4.0 ext cab truck. I went to a local pick and pull but didnt have the exact axle and hub. However they had a 99 explorer eddie bower 4x4 on hand and everything looked like it would fit my ranger so I went ahead and got both sides of it because my drivers side cv boot was toast anyway. The only thing I see different are the hubs and axle nut. I had switched to manual locking hubs (AVM'S) I think thats what their called made by rugged ridge a while back due to the pulse vaccum not working. Those wont work on the axle shafts I just went and got. That's the only problem I see. The rest should work just fine shoudn't it ??????? Thanks for any advice.

As far as I know it will all work. You would effectively be swapping to a live axle set up. The Explorer used a center-axle disconnect system, but that should not have any bearing on your setup because the actuator was in the axle tube, not at the wheel ends.
