My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Ok. I may be slow to notice things some times. I also sometimes spend several days just checking this forum on Tapatalk instead of using a computer. So if this is old news, please forgive me and have fun teasing me. But I actually looked at the home page of the TRS website and it looks different to me today. A very nice, fresh facelift. I don't see anyone else commenting. But I like to give credit where credit is due.

Congratulations, Jim. The site looks good.

Or maybe it just looks different because I'm on a different computer today.

I rarely visit the home page but just took a peak since you mentioned it...

Looks good!

I did notice earlier that we now have a brick wall background and the TRS page sits on top of that...maybe the wall is the one Trump was going to build but it got sold off and Jim picked it up cheap...:)

Also noticed that the site loads much faster than before...so maybe switched ISPs or the new format has less overhead...

All around improvements...:icon_thumby:

Thanks. I'm doing some finishing touches, and then I'm going to announce it on facebook, and send a email to all the forum members.

I'm updating TRS to be responsive to today's devices. I've spent months creating this new look. There are about 575 pages and 54 posts. I still have the old site running along side of the new site for those that want the original desk top version. When you're in the How To Tech page, you'll see a link to the original tech library.

The goal is to have 1 or 2 feature trucks every month, as well as a section on the right that will keep an up to date list of the newest article.

I back dated some of the featured trucks to spread it out. If you look to the right, there are links to categories such as SAS Rangers, different generations, 2WD, 4WD, etc...

I'm glad someone noticed. I've been working my ass off trying to have it done by the end of the year.

For example, if you have a smart phone (don't most people?), check out RaceRanger97's page on your phone:

Don't worry about the wall, I'm making Chevy pay for it.

very nice Jim!

I too have been visiting TRS via tapatalk more and more lately and when I do use the computer it is usually directly to the forums and not the main page.

I like it. this will go well with the new Ranger when it is released next year.
