My credo
Clean your room before you criticise the world.
If anyone knows of a awesome thread on building a 2.3t in a first gen ranger I'm looking at doing it in my truck just need a page to read

Have you looked at the tech library here on the swap? It's a fairly clean and easy swap.

There's also a whole forum devoted to 2.3t swap rangers with plenty of builds.

I assume you mean 2.3l Lima engine, not the newer 2.3l Duratec.

The Lima was used in Mustang IIs as well so Mustang forums are also a good source for Turbo builds.
While Ranger 2.3l turbo builds were not uncommon, it was done more in cars

Look for threads by me in this particular board, I've spelled out a good recipe a few times... just ignore the stuff I mention about the DIS. Keep your stock harness just add the VAM and knock sensor and air temp sensor if the engine you use is new enough, then repin the ECM connector, I think you have to move 10 wires or thereabouts... the most work is getting an air filter fitted, and reworking the exhaust, most of the rest of it is easy.
