I am getting ready to put a 2.9l engine and tranny from an 87 ranger into an 89 ranger body. The 89 body is missing the clutch master cylinder. When I looked up part numbers the 87 and 89 clutch master cylinders are different. Will the 87 clutch master cylinder bolt into the 89 cab? I guess what I am asking is can I use an 89 master with an 87 slave cylinder? Thanks

I'm 98% sure it'll work.
As long as the quick disconnect fittings are the same color. And IIRC they are both gold.
