So those of you that have done the 2.3t swap, what are you running for a pump? I heard the ranger stock pump will be okay for the 2.3t ( Seems incorrect). But what are you peeps running??

I've been running the stock pump and it seems to be plenty sufficient for a mild build, of al the odd stuff I've had come up none of them have been a lack of fuel from the pump but I haven't checked the pressure under full throttle full boost...

Even on the 5.0l swaps, 1997 and older Rangers with 35psi pressure, the stock pumps are fine.

So no worries

If dead-headed a stock Ranger pump can produce 75 PSI. If allowed to flow freely it can cycle the entire 15 gallon tank several times an hour, which means it can drain the tank in about 20 minutes.

No matter how much boost you run on a 2.3 if you manage to need more than 75 PSI, or happen to be sucking down 15 gallons in 20 minutes, you have bigger problems.

Go get a cheap high pressure Walbro 255lph pump. The stock pump is barley adequate enough for a stock engine, once you start modding you'll need to upgrade. Better to go big and be safe vs not having an adequate pump and run lean under boost...
