I'm at an end with my car right now so looking for some advice on what to check next. 86 2.9 was driving to work and it just died out of nowhere. Got it home and found the truck has no spark. Changed the ignition coil twice, two ignition control modules, a new pickup coil, and tried two computers and still won't fire. Have power to the coil just no spark. At this point I'm wondering if something melted in the wiring harness or? Thanks in advance for the help!

The green wire on the coil. Get a test light, hook it between that green wire and ground and crank the engine. The light should flash. Probably won't go out all the way, but the dimming and brightening should be noticeable.

If you have a solid light you have a short to ground somewhere. If you have no light you are getting no ground. If you have no ground I would look and see if you have power coming into the TFI module.

There is a ECM ground wire near the battery coming up from the frame that has a connector that could become unplugged. That kills the spark and maybe the fuel.
