The fun begins where the pavement ends
Spent most of tonight trying to get the goo out of the front end of the car and split the arm open to get the coils swapped.

Soon.

Did a little more work tonight (emphasis on a little). Breaking the control arms apart to get the the creamy centre. And by that I mean cool springs.

I'm hoping to have this car going in a couple months. Anybody else excited? Or around? :D

If you're hitting stuff with a hammer and it's taking a long time, you need a BIGGER HAMMER.

Hello people, so things got a little weird and busy, and the car never really got touched since my last update. I know, I know. But over the last few days the stars and the planets aligned and I've been tinkering. No promises, no dates. But I can tell you the front suspension has been disassembled fully and started in its way back together with the diesel coils.

It's not much but it's a step. I also got a wiring kit that should make the car simple to get going electrically. More to come.

I am quite baffled how I missed this thread for this long.

Looks great mate. It'll be a tad front heavy though?

Hope you enjoy the read!

The weight balance won't be ideal but I'm going to do what I can to move things into the cab and rearward.

The tie rod ends are still loose, need to figure out how to get them off and swap 'em for the new moog units I have ready.

We pushed the car out of the shop today so we can clean the shop up a bit, so I took the obligatory car outside in the snow picture Mike and I take of everything we work on
