Hello! I just bought the truck I've always wanted. And I have questions!

I'll ask them in the correct places, or I'll try.

I'm pretty new to rangers and 4x4. This truck has had some work done on it and I'm not sure how to identify the details of what's been done. IE. the type of lift, it's pro's/con's, what mods have been done along the way... I've been reading a lot here and am picking up some stuff but I'm struggling.

Over time I plan to do some additional mods. I plan to use the truck as #1 daily driver, #2 drive up into remote mountains on harsh logging roads and dirt trails, #3 get in and out of my place in the winter (country, no plowed roads, etc.)

Not planning to go "mudding" or cross streams or real harsh 4 wheeling.

2006 XLT 4x4. Lifted (I think 4") Over all pretty clean. 59k miles.

Welcome to TRS~!

Nice looking truck...they are well built to handle anything a DD would need...add some weight in winter and it will go through quite a bit of snow with no problem. There are many who can advise on the lift and anything that may need to be upgraded...and it sounds like you've figured out navigation of the site so you're well on your way...

Thanks!

I've already been learning a lot just from continuous eye bleeding reading.

It can be a bit of a learning curve and you will probably always learn new stuff about them but you will find the information is easier to ingest and digest after a few projects...:)
