Anyone ever wheel their ranger with only 3 of the 4 explorer springs? I removed the 3rd from the top down leaf last weekend cause it was just rode too rough. It does ride so much smoother now and seems to flex much better than before but my concern is when crawling hard and it's fully flexed out. There seems to be more negative arch now but the spring is straight when sitting on level ground. None of the yards around here have any rangers with the right springs, they are all fiberglass.

As long as you have left the thick overload leaf at the bottom in place, I think you'll be fine.

I think most Ranger leaf packs have one less leaf anyway.

Yes I left the overload on the bottom and the 2 longest springs. On level ground and loaded up with gear, the springs almost rest on the overload.
