so i've been having the issue since i bought the truck last year. the typical abs kicks on when coming to a stop. especially if the wheels are turned. but, i noticed last winter if you lock them up the pedal doesnt keep working. you feel the abs kick in and then the pedal is just hard and you have no stopping power. pretty sure my abs sensors in the front are going. how easy/difficult are they to replace.
also. something new that just started happening. i was going straight down a hill at about 60 so i eased into the brakes to control my speed and i felt the ABS working slightly. still plenty of braking power but i could feel it. slower speeds it didnt do it. i just put in a new limited slip in the rear and the tone ring got a little beat up. cleaned it up with a file but some teeth were still shorter than the others. think it might just need to be replaced?
