I recently installed a Pioneer DEH P7000BT into my 1991 ranger and oh my... i must have died and went to heaven. This is one of the best car stereo's i have ever heard. I used in combination with Pioneer TS-A1372R 5-1/4" 3-way
speakers for the rear and Pioneer TS-A1782R 6-3/4" 4-way speakers for the fronts. I also installed fatmat all over the truck.
The combination of these speakers and head unit is a way to get rich highs and not "wake up your next door neighbor" loud bass. Bass is very tight when fat max is added.
The coolest thing about this stereo is it is bluetooth ready. You can sync up your phone via bluetooth and make and recive calls from the stereo without touching your phone. You can mount the included microphone on the sunvisor or on the pillar.
And to people wanting larger amounts of bass, This stereo has 3 pre-amp outputs. This has 50 watt x 4-channel RMS.
