Any one know if the computer and engine wire harness from a 94 Explorer will work in a 92 4x4 with elec. 1354? My 92 at some point has had a elec. fire near the blower motor, the coil pack, crank sensor, ignition switch, and fuel pump are all new. The Ignition control module has tested good at Autozone. its cranks but still no fire. At this point thinking it might be faster and easier to just swap out the engine and wire harness. Any input would be great, thanks

there are several differences in 4.0 engine management between the following groups

1990-92
1993
1994

in any case it is best if you use the on-engine harness from the
original on the replacement

You will also need to swap the upper intake and drivers side exhaust manifold

a 1994 engine will have EGR, but your chassis will not, you don't want to add it
