So this is my first ford. and I have a coolant hose thats leaking. ive never seen hose designs like this. I have a return set, and an outgoing set. two 5/8" hose going to the firewall into the cab (one is going one is return) and halfway to the firewall they both have a black "T" that branches a smaller hose that goes to the upper intake manifold, one return, one going.

I don't know which one is which, but I do know what one is leaking.

My question is.... Does this come as a single item, the 3 hoses and "T"? or can I rip the hose out of the T and shove a new hose in?

yellow arrow points to specific hose I want to replace

red outline is the 5/8" hose with the pastic T and the 1/4" hose branching off of it to the IM

im not tryin to bypass the TB, at least for now. And its the 5/8" hose that goes into the water pump area.

can I just rip it out of that black T connector and shove a new hose in? or do I buy it specially with all 3 hoses on it already?

actually the heater control valve is on the firewall side of the plastic "T" in the 5/8" hose.

Im talking about the other set of hose identical to that set of hoses. the partiular hose im talking about is the 5/8" hose that is water pump side of the "T" and this set of hoses does not have the heater control valve on it.

im not sure whats difficult about my question and why ive got 2 responses not answering my question. I appreciate the help but its nothing to do with what I want.

I just want to know how to REPLACE THE HOSE that goes into the "T" connector.

I was at work when I responded and the picture did not show up on my computer at work, my bad.

No need for the attitude, it was an honest mistake.

You are SOL tho, that hose doesn't come off of that T, you have to replace the entire assembly.
