1995 Ranger odometer stopped working

Immediately after my emissions test on the dyno the odometer stopped working~~~ The speedometer is OK. Any ideas?

Mine did the same thing last week at 138xxx miles also a 95. From what I have read it's the worm gear that moves the gears.
