1999 3.0 4wd failed inspection, needed new ball joints. I replaced the lowers and upper control arms. On the passenger side I have a two piece set up so I replaced the outer arm that includes the ball joint. Then after replacing the driver's side control arm I thought maybe I should have done both pieces on the passenger side. I see the 'inner' piece doesn't seem to be available. Should I remove the new 'outer' piece I installed and switch to a one piece control arm on the passenger side as well? Is that what people do? Is that why I only see the one piece available?
