Alright so I've had a problem with my brakes not working properly so I started to go through and see if I can find the problem. First thing I did was pull the from and calipers were worn/cracked so I replaced those and bled the brakes really well and went for a drive and it seemed worse. Any ideas? The issues I'm having is brake pedal traveling to the floor with almost no effort and little stopping pressure. Any ideas would be great. I drive a 89 bronco 2

Well first thing is..........are you losing brake fluid?

If you have pedal pressure at some point, even low on the pedal, and it stops the vehicle and stays at that point then there is no leak, there is air in the system.

If it stops the vehicle but while you keep pushing down the pedal keeps sinking down to the floor then you do have a leak.

Common leak point is the rear brake line where it runs down inside the frame rail to the rear axle, it rusts out.

If pedal is firm but low then you will need to bleed brakes at all 4 wheels.
But first do this:
Hold out emergency brake release handle.
Pump the e-brake pedal a few times, if it gets firm higher and higher, then back brakes may need adjustment, but keep pumping the e-brake pedal until it stays at the same place.
Now start the engine and try the brake pedal, see if it is higher now.

When you bleed the brakes it is best to start with farthest wheel away from Master cylinder, usually right rear wheel.
Then left rear then front right and then drivers front

Alright here's what I got going on. I lost my brakes well my pedal goes to the floor. So I started at the brakes and replaced the calipers and wheel cylinders(they needed it bad) and bled my brakes good. But still my pedal goes to the floor. So from there I decided to toss a new master cylinder on and see if that helps. SURPRISE not any better so we pulled the front brake line on the caliper off to see if it's even pushing fluid out and nothing is even coming out. Made sure the fliud is in and the res is working good but still nothing is coming out of it. I am just looking for direction of where to go cause right now I'm stuck.

This is on my bronco 2 it's a 89 b2 with explorer drive train and 35s.

The first time I ran across one of those new fangled plastic see thru brake masters I had the same problem you did. Turns out that the rubber gasket had got sucked down into the reservoir and looked like it belonged there. Eventually a buddy came by and pulled the rubber out and I was able to bleed the system. Boy, I felt silly. But if you don't know, you don't know....

I took the res off and poured fluid right through it. Could it still be that?
