Picked up a goody bag of parts last week off of CL for $340, and boy was it worth it, just enough to start up a project I've been delegating...
Some highlights were;
Two Turbo Shortblocks, this one I'm using
An IHI Turbo which I had to retap the threads on;
A square style intake;
Aannd...the wiring harness and ECM out of an 88 Thunderbird TC, which I had to re-wire
Anyhow, I'm gonna be tearing apart the short-block next week and freshening it up, drop it in my 95 Ranger along with the wiring and ECM, and be on my way.
Also, how do the flat and roller 2.3 cams compare in a turbo application? I have access to both, and a freshly-ported SP head. Any thoughts?
