93 Ranger prerunner project

Heres the process of building my daily driver into a prerunner. eventually it will hopefully be a class 1450 race truck. Ill keep it updated as I go along.

here is what it looked like when I first got it.


the stock suspension


camburg 5.5 bent beam kit


how it sat after the lift and 31" tires


4" front glass


new rims, tires, shocks, and 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears and limited slip

I just got a new rear bumper with a spare rim and tire. Looks really good. ill have pics up tomorrow.

looks like a raceranger97 clone!!!! that's a good thing, if you havent looked at that thread, definitly do

IMO it would look sweet if you painted the platic grill body color

haha thats funny you said that because i live down the street from him and I have his old front suspension setup and I just bought the rear bumper I just got off of him. It will be like his eventually.

put some 2' wheel spacers on to widen it up a bit until I get beams built this summer.

yea it does pretty good, haven't been beat by a 2.3 0r 3.0 so far and does a good job with keeping up with the 4.0's. its auto but a 5 speed swap is definately in the plans.
