Ive looked can find any info. So heres what i have going on bought a m5od-r2 4.2 out of a 2001 transmission for my ranger what clutch/flywheel do i need to use for my 302 swap?

For the m5r2. You need a 164 tooth flywheel. And the matching starter and clutch. I use rock auto. And look up parts for a 95 f150 with the 302. This will give you the correct starter. Flywheel. And clutch kit. I suggest the exedy kit.

For the m5r2. You need a 164 tooth flywheel. And the matching starter and clutch. I use rock auto. And look up parts for a 95 f150 with the 302. This will give you the correct starter. Flywheel. And clutch kit. I suggest the exedy kit.

One more thing to add. Make sure you know the balance weight of your 302. It's either 50oz or 28oz. The f150 flywheel I suggested is for a 50oz. But if your 302 is a 28oz. Then use the same truck I suggested. But pull up a 351w instead.

It's out of a 97 explorer so it's a 50oz thanks for checking up.
