Changing heads on 1999 3.0

Needing to know if set of heads Cast # F6DE-GC from 2000 3-0 non flex .Will work on 1999 3.0 flex with cast # F6DE-EB head. Or can one of each be used on the Felx eng.?:icon_confused:
Temp,gauge reading wrong was just going 1/2 way.Ran hot steam comming out tail pipe,and blowing out of rad.Had hot water in intake also.
Have not pulled it down yet but looking like head gast. heads and intake

Yes, the "set" can be used, but I wouldn't use just 1.

You do have a cylinder leak from your description but heads might be OK, have them pressure tested at machine shop, unless you can see an obvious crack between valve seats.
