Hey guys,
I try not to bug anyone, you know, try to read before I ask and all.
Thing is, I have a tranny out in my 2001 B4000 Dual Sport.
I know it's a Mazda and all, but everything is FLM under the hood.
Getting to the question, can you put a trans from a Ranger in a Mazda?
The trans code is "D", which says it's a 5R55E automatic.
Mazda has their part number, and Ford has theirs, and neither could bridge the gap of information. I probably didn't help coming in from deep left center, with an oddball situation.
I have found a working trans, just don't want to buy something I won't be able to use.
Any info is appreciated, as I really need this truck back in a bad way.
