Hey guys, so some of you know that I was planning on caging my f350 but plans changed for a number of reasons so now the roll cage, and my 1 tons are going into my ranger and the 350 is getting scrapped.

Anyways here is day one work on the cage
All self explanatory

The first and only piece of tube that I messed up the bend on today

Seat belts, the guy that I am building my truck with ran them in his race truck for one race and they outlawed this style for dezert racing, I am not racing so these work great and I get a sweet discount

Ive always wondered the same thing. my guess is they dont trust people setting them up right, usually causing more harm then good.

truck looks good, that will be a fun build for sure!

It is because dirt can get in the slots and they can get stuck, and they are a more complicated design then the latch/link style therefore more to fail.

If anyone has any questions about the cage design or any pics ask away, also there are a few more pics in my photobucket acct.

Didn't have the right material to build a cage for the 350 and it was a long way away from running (time and money) so I am taking the 1 tons from it, selling the engine trans and tcase and scrapping the body. Basically I will be getting a set of tons for like 100 bucks if everything sells
