Hi All! wonder if anyone could please give me some advice on my air fuel readings? when i first start up the Ranger the gauge stays at 14 -to 16 then suddenly pegs to the red! stays there until i start to drive then its pretty much all over the place and hard to read a steady number to be sure of an accurate read and whats going on! Note: Im not real educated in turbo tech i just got the truck and all I know is it was pro set up that way!!!

thanx for the help!

What year and what engine in your Ranger?

What are you looking at for the air/fuel ratio number?

Most air/fuel gauges run off an O2 sensor on exhaust pipe, and these can not work until they are heated above 650degF, so takes a few minutes after Cold Start to get accurate numbers
