Red would be best as far as not bothering your eyes at night. I plan to replace my LED map lights with red LED lights so i dont blind myself if i ever have to turn them on at night

Does it somehow affect you? Maybe STFU and let the guy do what he wants.

just FYI, Blue is one of the WORST colors you can install in your rig for night driving. It will drive your eyes crazy. The darker it is outside, and the longer your around that blue, the more your eyes will hate you.

I have autometer cobalts in my superduty, and after a few hours of driving at night, all I want to do is turn them off completely.

Red is on the other end of the spectrum, and doesnt affect your night vision nearly as bad. Green isnt horrible either. In fact, your eye can see more shades of green than any other color. This is why most night vision systems use green. Because your eye can see subtle changes that other colors might not show you.

As for glow lights in the cab...Ive done it. It gets old fast, especially if you drive alot at night. You reach a point where you want nothing more than for every light to be turned off. I have blue eyes, and Ive read that blue eyed ppl just have more sensitivity to light while night driving than other eye colors, so your mileage may vary. Its your truck, do what you want. I know I do.
