- Broke, had to learn...
Picked up a 1993 2.3 XL standard cab for a great price, did repairs and upgrades from this forum, and my daughter is happily putting the miles on it during the week, and it does farm duty on the weekend, doing a surprising amount of heavy work for 2wd short bed.
Summer is coming all to soon here in the deep south, and the cab gets toasty...got a good sliding rear window from the pull-a-part, but the factory floor mat was shredded.
What have you done to insulate the cab floor against engine/exhaust heat that worked?
The headliner is shot in this truck too, before I replace it, would an additional thermal barrier help there?
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions.
