So, was just going to do an AAL when I did my 8.8 swap, and though overthinking things, deicded to do a bastard pack. So off to the yard I went and I got 01 Explorer leaves with a F code. Well they looked awesome, got them home, cut them apart, and slowly realized that when I went to put the pack together, that the exploder leaves have an offset to them where the pins are. With this, I cannot use the top explorer leaf and when I set them up, leaves sort of stack exactly top of each other. I have 2 questions:
1. Will it hurt anything if the leaves towards the rear are exactly the same lengh or should I cut them?
2. If I leave them the same length towards the back, do those little rubber push clips really do anything besides stop groan?
Here is a pic for reference of what I'm talking about.
Order from what I can remember is:
Stock Ranger
2nd Ranger
2nd Explorer
3rd Ranger
3rd Explorer
