Howdy and thanks in advance...
I found out the PS box is actually leaking from a bottom seal and I cannot fix it...I have both a manual and power box and I'm leaning towards the manual box but I noticed a slight difference in the pitman arm design. I have included images of things to try to get a better answer...
The first image is of the old box and the clearance between the two tie rods...the black line indicates where the two rods meet and there is about an inch or so clearance between the two rods where the pitman arm connects.

This image shows the two pumps side by side. The reddish one is identical to the one on the truck and the other one is the manual box. As you can see, the manual box pitman arm dips about an inch lower than the original. I cannot swap the pitman arm from the power box to the manual box because the shaft that the pitman sits on is narrower on the manual box by about a half inch diameter.

I'm hoping that by using the manual box as it is it will not push the two tie rods too close together or otherwise mess up the angle too much that the pitman connection won't work properly or have too much stress.
Thanks again...
My other option, of course, is to use the power box as it is identical to the one already installed...and the good news is...the three bolts holding the steering box in are already loosened thanks to a 5/8 socket and my Johnson bar...
The other good news is...the auto parts store down the street has G8 bolts that I need to mount the body properly. </a[></a[>
