Hey folks - so in the process of removing my old fuel send unit I realized that my quick connect "female" ends on the gas lines were toast. Cracked, brittle and useless. The lines themselves are in decent shape. Rather than mess arkund with the quick connect fuel line repair kit, would a well fitted hose clamp create a reliable leak free join for the fuel lines directly on to the send unit?

Only advice I can give you is to make sure you use hose made for gas.

It could, but the line needs to make it over the little ridge the original fitting hooked too, otherwise it will not gt enough bite to seal and stay.
