The other day I got a technician i know to install a new ac hose. He recharged the system and it was quite cold. But later during the very hottest part of the day, I could hear the compressor relay switching about once per second with warm air blowing out the vents (on max a/c). So i turned it off. This morning i decided to run it again on the way to work, worked great until the coolant temp started to rise to a typical level for hot weather with ac running. Then it proceeded to stop blowing and start switching again.
Sorry for the long winded post. Im gonna go back to him to get it fixed, but he seemed to think it was leaking from an o ring or the hose that wasn't replaced. I messed up when i took the hose off last fall to do other work, as it had burst anyway. The technician told me to just cut the hose instead of removing it entirely, and somehow i ended up forgetting and taking the whole hose off the compressor. So he had concerns about the cleanliness of the system, but he added new PAG46 oil before charging.
As well not long after i got it fixed i noticed condensation on the passenger kick panel, it hasn't come back since though, and this happened before the ac started acting up.
Tl; dr. Idk.
