Hey all,

I am going to put an electric fan in my ranger. It is a 2.5 4cyl. and I wanted to know everyone's opinion on whether to push or pull.. I was thinking of possibly leaving my stock fan on and putting a couple small push fans on the front (no shroud) that I would run only when crawling, or put a single pull fan (with shroud) and remove my stock fan. What is everyone's opinion on that? Advice? Words of wisdom? Experiences?

Thanks..

If your slow motion crawling push it out but if you drive it on the road at all pull it. Think about it, if your trying to push it out when your doing 60+ who wins the fan or your foreward velocity. Unless its a dedicated crawler keep it coming to you. Also why have your stock fan pulling while crawling fighting an elect. fan/fans going the other way?

yeah, I understand that. But if anything, for push fans I would put them on a switch and run them when crawling and have them off the rest of the time..
