On my way home from work today, my 1992 Ford Ranger Custom starts to periodically make a buzzing noise. Also, my dome light would flash on and off. I've spent the past hour looking stuff up and only found that it could be that the motherboard is wet. I've recently replaced the battery, but that was about a week and a half ago. I know it's an old truck, so I'm thinking either alternator or blown fuse. I would appreciate any input on this matter.

A blown fuse wouldn't have caused the dome light to flash... AFAIK. When I blew a fuse it killed my dome light completely...

Does anything else besides the dome light not work?

It was really weird. I checked the fuses 1st thing in the morning and they were fine. I then proceeded to drive the truck around for about a mile without the buzzing happening. Plus, it was raining harder today when I drove it then the day it happened. I even when through a huge puddle and the truck kept on going. I'm bringing it in to the garage today also because my check engine light is on.
