Last night, I started the Ranger for the first time in a few months after tearing apart the top end, replacing one head and swapping in the M5OD.
Couple issues I need to work through. I have an exhaust leak at the manifold I need to take care of, the distributor is a tooth off (I can time it, but I don't like where the distributor harness ends up), and the starter won't disengage.
But I have good oil pressure, no lifter noise and no lower end noise so far and it runs pretty well when the timing's close.
Still have a fair amount to do, but there's a chance it will be on the road again this weekend...
